Rose is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female German Shepherd mix who was brought to the HSOV on February 23, 2022 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff who had picked her up on Acme Street in Marietta Ohio. Rose was wearing wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on her collar ... And she was not microchipped.
Rose has a brown short smooth coat with tan highlights, a long tail, and a stunning Shepherd face with expressive brown eyes, black shading on her muzzle, and magnificent extra-large erect ears.
This gorgeous young lady has a friendly, 'Type A' outgoing personality.
We've learned that Rose might be okay with a medium-sized male dog (or larger), but she does NOT do well with smaller dogs or cats.
Rose weighs 48.2 lbs.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Rose was held for three days and for an additional four days after the required stray hold. Surprisingly, this sweet girl was not reclaimed.
Rose was spayed on April 18, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Rose (Photos 2/24/2022), a Marietta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marietta.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
