My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Lucy is (we think) a mix of Shepherd and Jack Russell terrier. She weighs 35 lbs, and appears to be less than 2 years old.

History:
She showed up at our house near the end of December. She had fleas, patches of missing hair, and was a little underweight. She's been bathed & dewormed, and is in good shape now. No microchip, but does have a spay scar.

Personality:
Very eager to please & learns very quickly. She knows 'sit', & will do so for her food/treats. She is a good balance of playful & affectionate. After a few minutes of ball play, she's happy to nap at your feet or sit & be scratched.

Good w/Dogs - Yes
Good w/Kids - Unknown, but we suspect she will love kids.
Good w/Cats - We think she would want to play with them/chase them, so it's really up to the cats.

Favorite Activities:
Playing with squeaky ball, barking at strangers, eating, exploring

Why I'm looking for a home:
Our cats will not accept a dog in the house, & she needs a fenced-in yard. No problems with behavior.
