My story

Nutmeg is a pretty 4-year-old adult tabby calico girl and
Ginger is a pretty 5-year-old dilute calico adult girl.

They found themselves homeless and alone after their owner suddenly passed away.

Nutmeg and Ginger are best buddies and a bonded pair.
As we have gotten to know them, we know that the Spice Girls will live their best lives together.

Ginger is a volunteer and visitor favorite as she instantly is so social and affectionate, greeting everyone who comes into the room.

Nutmeg gets her confidence in new people from Ginger, and then quickly warms up.
Both are equal in affection and playfulness.

Ginger loves to play catch and toss with her humans and the bouncy balls. She will play as long as you will.

Nutmeg loves to chase the balls through the tunnel with Ginger and the other cats.

Both of them are obsessed with the wand toys for interactive play and excel at getting the mice out of the puzzle box for independent play.

Both girls are always checking on each other, grooming, lying together, and always wanting to know where the other is.

Both girls love to be brushed, love interacting with their humans, don't mind getting their nails trimmed, and get along great with other cats.

These two girls are perfect. Adult cats are great for first time cat owners and integrate so easily into a household because they already are familiar with the routines of daily life.

Our vet said that Ginger had some sort of trauma to her left eye as she has a small scar on the outside corner. It doesn't need any further treatment and doesn't bother or affect her at all, as evidenced by her hand-eye coordination with the bouncy balls.

Ginger and Nutmeg are hanging out with the other adoptable cats in the cat adoption room at the West Dundee Petco. Come and meet them!
