Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nelly! Nelly is such a sweet and endearing little sweetheart that it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. She has a way of looking at you that will melt your heart.
Nelly’s favorite things include leisurely walks, belly rubs and naps. She has wonderful house manners, is housetrained, and is good in the car. She is very sweet, calm and easygoing, and happy just to be by your side. She is obedient and doesn’t beg for food. Nelly likes other dogs and people, though we haven’t seen her around cats yet. If you like to hold your dog like a baby, then Nelly’s your gal. Nelly is still learning to trust and build self confidence but is making great progress each day. She does not like to be left alone so her ideal home would have another dog or someone home most of the day.
Nelly is up-to-date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Nelly had surgery to remove mammary masses (biopsy was malignant and entire mass was removed with small margins). We are accepting applications now.
Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation.
