My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This three year old hunk has the BEST smile! Herbie is the sweetest boy. He is potty and crate trained and loves other dogs and cats. He does great with all people and has never met a stranger. He adores his people and always wants to be close by - even if he’s just napping.

We especially love his expressive ears and his polka dots. He is a bigger boy, around 69 pounds, who is still learning not to jump up on you for hugs. For this reason only, we think a home without little kiddos might be best.

Herbie is very smart and willing to please, so he will be a perfect companion/family dog. Herbie is past the obnoxious puppy stage so he isn’t destructive. He likes riding in the car and would be a great adventure buddy! He loves being active just as much as he loves a good nap. Once you meet this guy - you will fall in love. We guarantee you won’t find a more loving, loyal dog.

While, Herbie is crate trained, he will whine some when in his crate so he would not work in apartment setting. He also needs a tall, wooden fence. Not that he's ever shown any reason to want to go on the run, but a shorter fence would be too easy for him to scale.

Herbie is completely vetted - neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 and he is being fostered in Southlake. To meet this most excellent friend, please submit an application through our website.
