My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tootsie is a 10 year old Female (Spayed) Chocolate Lab. She is up to date on her shots and last week had her teeth cleaned and 10 teeth extracted. She is overweight but weight management food and outside activities and walks should help.

She is currently being fostered in O’Fallon Missouri. She is such a good girl who is good with kids, cats and dogs. She is very timid though around large dogs and would probably do best in a calmer environment. She is friendly and will follow you around for attention and snuggles. She is a fan of naps and no issues with riding in cars. She was originally rescued her from a dog breeder where Tootsie was previously used for breeding.

I will be happy to connect you with the foster and arrange a meet and greet to see if she would be a good fit in your home.

Our goal is to keep our hospice patients and their pets together for as long as possible. If there is a financial need, we will cover pet food, veterinary services, medications, grooming, etc.… We will also help with rehoming the pet after our patient passes or is unable to care for the pet and if there is not a loving home available with friends or family.
