My story

3/5/22

Virginia and North Carolina please share Cammie. This poor girl has been let down multiple times through no fault of her own. She needs humans she can rely on.

Cammie is 6 years old and 50lbs. She loves to run and play. Cammie is dog selective so a definite meet and greet would be necessary and the other dog must be submissive and preferably a male. She is spayed, current on vaccines, crate trained, potty trained. She loves older respectful children and just needs a loving family.

If interested in giving Cammie here forever please fill out an application at operationsaveashelterdog.org. Adoption fee is $250.

Additional adoption info

We dedicate ourselves to ensuring that it is a good fit for adopters and dogs.

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable dogs are all in various foster homes and can be met by contacting rescue. Rescue will then provide foster home's contact information. Meet and greets will be arranged between foster and potential adopters. We also have adoption events at Petsmart on various dates which can be checked on our Facebook page, Operation Save a Shelter Dog.

More about this rescue

Our Mission

Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
