Meet Montana

CHARACTERISTICS
Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, Smart, Brave, Funny, Dignified, Couch potato, Loves kisses

Montana was rescued during the raid on the property of an individual charged with dogfighting.

Found as a "house dog" it is suspected that Montana may have lived inside the house, at least for some portion of the time.

Montana is a big snuggly lap dog! He loves everyone he meets and is very easy going.

Montana will need a dental, which we will be paying for. He needs to gain about ten pounds. The vet said he is otherwise healthy for a senior, despite several old pressure sores and punctures all over his wiggly body.

Montana is part of our Take My Lead program meaning he goes home with a grant for FREE private training and if adopted near Providence, free group classes too!

While Montana had a rough life, he is now excited to learn what it's like to be a loved pet. Will you show him?
