My story

**Adoptions are by Appointment Only** Please visit www.kootenaihumane.org select ADOPT so you can check out our new Adoption Process. As he adjusts to shelter life, we are still learning Boyde's personality. He is quiet and can be shy. He gains most of his confidence from his loyal friend Bubba and is hopeful to be able to go to a home with him. He does well around other cats and respectful dogs. He would thrive in a quiet home. Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime. I am an indoor only kitty!

More about this shelter

KHS is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them. As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum, but rather are cared for until they can be placed. Our Mission - to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
