My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mick is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Mix. He is Black and Tan. Mick is 8 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 62 lbs.

Mick is a big fluffy teddy bear of a dog! Mick was found wandering on a back road in a rural area and someone was nice enough to take him to the pound where we rescued him! This beautiful boy has the colors of a Rottweiler while having the German Shepherd coat. He know some basic commands like "Sit", "Give Paw", and "Lay Down". With a little more training he would probably know all the rest of the commands as well. He loves to play with other dogs, especially if they are large like him. When Mick isn't wrestling around with other dogs, he wants all the love he can get. He likes to jump up on the couch and lean right against you so you can hug and pet him. Mick also is a big lover boy who loves to give kisses when you sit next to him. Right now his favorite toy is a plush squeaky toy that he likes to toss in the air and catch himself. He enjoys running around in the yard and playing with the other dogs, he some how finds toys buried in the yard and being playing fetch with himself. He is one of the happiest dogs we've ever met and all he wants to do is play, spend time with his family and play some more.

Mick would do well in any household. He loves adults, kids and other dogs. He would love a fenced in yard where he can run and play, but does well on the leash and would enjoy a 10-15 minute walk a day. He rides very well in the car and loves to try and sit on your lap, but is content to sit in the back and look out the window. He would be ecstatic to have another larger dog as a playmate to wrestle around and spend his day with. He does already love the couch so if his new family doesn't want him on the furniture, he must be taught that. He would enjoy going through obedience classes and learning even more, he loves to please his family so having him go through classes would be a great bonding experience for the whole family. Mick is a wonderful boy who would love for a place to call home!

Mick is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
