Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy post for Cynde who is trying to help Luna
Meet gorgeous, housebroken, trained & child friendly Luna. Up to date on all vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested plus preventative. She has lived the majority of her 7 yrs of life with a family with 2 daughters now 10 & 12 yrs old. She adores them, every human she meets and the other male dog. Luna has never had a problem living with her hound brother. Unfortunately a local bully rescue had this family foster a pregnant pitty that they eventually adopted. They fed all 3 dogs out of the same bowl (amazingly no issues). They decided to feed separately due to their hound gaining weight. The newer pitty girl turned 3 years old and decided she was not going to be submissive to Luna anymore. There have been 3 fights between the female dogs, no serious injuries.
Luna has never been reactive to the male hound or any other dog that she has met inside or outside.
Luna’s favorite activity is cuddling with her family and their male dog. Now this wonderful girl is living in a crate isolated in the basement.
Luna has never redirected to a person or the male dog. The husband told me that if she did he was going to “Take care of It himself”…
They adopted Luna from Baltimore County Animal Services and they were told she may be euthanized if returned.
Can anyone help Luna? Please Cynde at k9queene@aol.com ASAP if you can adopt Luna.
