My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET CARMELA! Carmela is estimated to be about 2yrs old and came to us from a rural NC shelter. Carmela found herself in a strange place giving birth to 6 little babies. We thought she was pretty feral when we pulled her but came to found out she is not so feral. She does allow petting but is very unsure about the human race at first and will take some time to get comfortable. Carmela REALLY loves other cats, and she tends to come out of her shell in their presence. She was very scared at her foster home at first but once she was integrated with the other cats in the home, she started to come out from hiding more often. She is a beauty for sure! She is going to need an adopter that will understand it will take some time for her to allow handing and it needs to be on her terms, but she WILL come around. We don't believe Carmela will be a cuddly cat on your terms it will be on her terms, and it will be in time. Carmela is spayed, microchipped, up to date with all her vaccinations, FIV/FELV negative.
