My story

Meet Marci a medium hair Calico. Marci is a senior, estimated 13 years old, who's looking for a soft, quiet home. Marci came to us in pretty neglected condition. She had been surrendered to the shelter because she was old and her previous owners just didn't want to care for her anymore. Well, from her condition, they hadn't been caring for her before either. Her hair was matted and she only weighed about 4 pounds!! We have marked her ‘special needs' because like many seniors, she has a few ongoing health issues: Marci is hard of hearing and needs to be brushed often. Marci was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is on twice daily medication - it's a pretty simple cream that you just rub into her ears. Marci just wants a calm home with a fluffy bed to sleep the day (& night) away in! She's very sweet, and you'll love to pet her and watch tv with her. She'll be a wonderful companion for someone who wants a calm, easygoing kitty to spend time with. She would prefer a calm home to spend her golden years in. She is a good eater and has good litter box manners too. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://webportalapp.com/sp/login/savinghopeanimalrescue-catapplicationportal It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $150 which includes vaccinations, combo testing, spay/neuter and microchip.
