My story

Lovely LOCK is a beautiful black shorthair female. She's a sweetheart who is all purrs and snuggles. She loves scratches, kisses, and treats. She's a playful girl who likes to chase little toy mice around the house and then crash for a good nap. Lock and her siblings were born to a community cat who found her way into the right back yard, where she was trapped, taken in, and her babies were lovingly cared for. Now those babies are healthy, confident teenagers. Lock loves other kitties, and she would love to be in a home where she'll get lots of attention.

Lock has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet (Cat Name) in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID# 2106-C0308

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet. All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
