My story

Hi I'm Maggie!

I'm about 10 months old, bully breed mix, spayed, UTD on all shots, house trained, walk well on a leash, know all the basic obedience commands and even my sit hand signal! I'm great with cats and dogs of all sizes, I quietly sleep in my crate all night long and would be good with older children.
I'm pretty much past the puppy chewing stage, have a lot of energy and would be a great hiking, adventure partner.
I would REALLY love to find my forever home soon.
Do you think I would be perfect for yours???

Why adoption is a great option

Maggie, a Colorado springs Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Colorado springs, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Colorado springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
