Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sugar is such a sweet girl… She was surrendered to our local humane society several months ago after her owner passed away. Unfortunately, she lived on a chain for a while before going to the shelter. She had a hard time adjusting to the “shelter life” (although what dog thrives in a concrete cell?), so we pulled her. Sugar has done so well in her foster home! She LOVES interacting with people (we were told she was a Walmart greeter in her past life) and other dogs. She never meets a stranger. While she is crate trained, she does not like the crate or being left alone. I’m sure living outside, alone on a chain added to this issue. But as long as her person is home most of the time, she will thrive.
When Sugar gets excited, she does like to jump on her people and lick their faces.
Even though she is technically a senior, she still likes to run and play outside. She gets super excited when you pull out her leash! She does pull on the leash when going on a walk.
Sugar is working on house training and occasionally has accidents when she is left alone for long periods of time.
Sugar deserves the very best family! If you are interested in adding her to your family, please submit an application at www.goofyfootrescue.org.
