My story

At the end of the day, Chop is just a big teddy bear that wants lots of love. He doesn’t believe in personal space and kisses very aggressively. Sometimes he “nibbles” while doing it and you have to tell him no because he’s not meaning to hurt you; he's just super excited to be loved.

As long as you move slow in the introduction process, he will get along with other dogs. He will tolerate a cat in the room, but if it instigates anything, he will chase after it until he gives up.

He loves to be outside. He does have house accidents sometimes, even if you take him out often, but that is rare. He has no problems being crated when you have to leave.

He’s such a sweetheart and just wants to be loved and cuddled. Great with kids too, you just have to watch his aggressive kisses

Medical History:
Chop had hind end weakness, incontinence and was dragging his back legs when he came to Battle for the Bully. He was diagnosed as having subarachnoid diverticulum between his T9 and T10 vertebrae. This means the lining of his spinal cord filled with cerebrospinal fluid and caused compression on the spine.

Chop had the necessary surgery to correct his spine and has recovered nicely. He's healthy now and ready to find his forever home. Chop can't wait to show his new family just how much love, loyalty and affection he has to give!
