JAEGER is an approximately 3 year old neutered male German Shepherd. He is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
Jaeger completed two weeks of train and board in April 2022. He learned to walk on leash, and sit and down commands. He does well in the crate when no one is home, but prefers to be out of the crate when his family is home.
Jaeger is house trained, he has no accidents in the home as long as he is let out on a regular basis (approximately every 6 - 8 hours).
Jaeger can be a bit domineering and we do not suggest a home with other male dogs. He enjoys the companionship of female dogs, after slow introductions.
Jaeger needs a home with structure and patience to give him the love and attention he should have received as a puppy. He is is a bit shy at first meeting, but warms up to new people quickly. He is very strong and active, so we do not recommend a home with small children. An ideal home would include someone with experience handling German shepherds.
