My story

Leo is an extremely stunning, bug, friendly boy.  He loves people and loves to play.  He is weighing in at about 75 pounds and loves to run…so we need a home with a big fenced yard for him to go out and play.  We are not sure how he will do with other dogs, he becomes a little protective of his people where other dogs are concerned…but we hate to say he can not be with other dogs.  It will depend on the other dog as well.

Patented Kuranda Dog Beds We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We strive to place our animals in the home that is the best possible match for the animal and the home. We have a four step process: 1. application 2. reference checks 3. phone interview 4. homevisit. All our animals are spay/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on prevention. Our animals are in a homebased shelter and some are in foster care, so most are adjusted to the home experience and are crate trained. Our adoption fee is $125.

More about this rescue

Pet Tender Angels is a rescue started by an individual who loves animals and wants to see no more homeless animals! The dogs in our rescue are off the streets. Strays, ferals, dumped....however they got there, our mission is to get them in loving homes and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering and loving care of your pets. Pets are not material objects. They are part of the family and need love just like humans do.
