Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**KANGA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** We have seen more than our fair share of cute puppies over the years, but these guys might take the prize for cutest and sweetest ever! These giant fuzzballs were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago waiting to meet their forever families. This litter is estimated to be 10-12 weeks old (as of 3/16/22). They are large for their age and are growing like weeds! The smallest in the group, Owl, is 23 pounds, while the largest, Eeyore is over 30 pounds. We were told their mother is a Husky mix, but their father was unknown. Judging from their appearance, size, and coat type, we guess dad could have been a St. Bernard or Great Pyrenees mix. Both parents were most likely mixed breeds, so they are more than likely a combination of several breeds. There are four males (Piglet, Pooh Bear, Eeyore, Tigger) and five females (Owl, Robin, Kanga, Roo, and Winnie) in the litter. They are very friendly, social, curious, and happy puppies and will make fantastic companions. We expect they will mature to be 65-100 pounds when fully grown. Potential adopters must be sure they have the space, time, and vacuum power for a large, hairy dog! Please keep in mind that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 2-3 hours or so) and lots of playtime and attention throughout the day for the next several months so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy before applying. We expect these guys to be very popular so please get your application in today!
The adoption fee to the rescue is $500 per puppy. This fee helps to cover their medical expenses while in our care. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and are taking monthly flea/heartworm preventative.
This litter is in a foster home and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved.
