My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Sweet boy Drew is an international rescue through Taiwan. Currently living with a foster family in San Francisco, CA. If you are interested in adopting Drew, please fill out our application here: https://lifeofhopefoundation.org/adoption-application/

Story of Drew’s rescue:Drew’s mom was a stray living by a busy construction site. One day, she gave birth to 10 puppies but after 1 week, only 4 puppies were left (and survived). The construction site was no place for dogs, let alone newly born puppies, thus, the rescue made the decision of taking the mom and remaining 4 puppies away from the dangerous location.

About Drew:
Drew is an easy-going boy. He is not timid or fearful! All he needs is a little time to get to know new friends. He then warms up pretty quickly, and would be seeking affection like kisses and pets. Drew is very food motivated and will never say no to any treats and food given by people. Even if he gets a little shy meeting new people, if you have treats on your hands, he will immediately come to you. As much as he loves food, Drew is very polite and knows his manners. He does not show any tendency to guard his food in front of people or other dogs. He loves to play with other dogs. However, if the dogs coming to him are too energetic or don’t respect Drew’s space, he likes to keep his distance and observe to ensure those dogs won’t attack him. Then, he will start to play chase with them.Drew is potty trained. He knows how to use pee pads indoors and would go to the grass outside to do his business. Just like most rescue dogs, sudden loud noise or movement such as a loud motorcycle riding past – tend to startle him. Please be sure to have a secure leash when taking him out for walks, especially in the early weeks of going to a new home. Overall, Drew is a friendly and active pup who is food motivated. He also loves toys and loves to be with people. He comes house-trained and might need a few initial moments to get used to new places and people. If you are interested in giving this boy a forever home, please fill out an application and we will reach out to share more details of Drew.
