Hi! My name is PEEK-A-BOO
I am a beautiful New Zealand bun who was born in rescue on 5/26/2021.
My mama gave birth to 11 kits upon intake into the rescue and I was the only baby that survived because my mama was so sick and unable to carry a healthy litter. Thank goodness there was another nursing mama in the rescue and she took me in and HERE I AM!!
I found a best friend in the rescue too named "Stardust" and we will only be adopted as a pair because we love and need each other so much. Bonded is better as they always say and life is meant to be shared.
I am a very young and energetic boy and I like pets, but I may need a bit of time to establish trust. I love a routine and am happier if you stick to a schedule and I will come RUNNING when it's time to eat. My daily greens and pellets are great but my favorite is BANANA for a treat!
Stardust and I are both very good about limiting our chewing to the toys and cardboard that our foster parents give us. Our foster family worked very hard on litter box training for both of us and guess what? They give us an A+ except for the occasional "cocoa puff" here and there.
Like most domestic buns we aren't super snugglers yet, but love it when you come down to our level and let us take the lead! Human/bunny interaction takes time and patience. A home with no children is what would work best for us. I have not been around dogs and cats so I am not sure what I think of them.
My foster dad says I am a sweet bunny. One day at a Romp and Spa, I saw my biological Mom and Dad! My mom is still very shy of people and was hiding in the corner. I went over to her and gave her kisses and laid next to her so she didn't have to be so scared.
I could go on and on, but if you really want to see just how special Stardust and I are, come meet us in person. We would love to meet you!
*RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10*

Gender: Male
Approximate birthdate: 5/26/2021
Approximate weight: 8.39 pounds
Adoption fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax)
RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
