My story

Meet Toby! Toby is an adult male kitty who was born 6/3/17, and will be turning 5 years old in June. Toby and his brother Gus are looking for new homes after being returned to us from their previous owners. Unfortunately, Toby was found to have some urinary tract inflammation so he is now on a special urinary diet to keep him from having any issues in the future. Toby is a sweet but low key guy who likes to hang out with his people. He would love to find his forever home soon! Toby's adoption fee is $59 and covers his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and urinalysis, fecal and felv/fiv testing. Please email for an application. Meetings are scheduled after the application is approved Please email availablepets@gmail.com to start the adoption process.

Why adoption is a great option

ADOPTED! Toby, a Oswego Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
