Chantilly is a a stunning, sweet girl! She absolutely loves being petted and scratched, and even lays down and shows her belly. She purrs quite a bit as well. She is often found on a high windowsill, looking out the window. Chantilly is quite talkative, and has no problem telling you what she wants! Her favorite thing to do is play with a cat teaser- she will play constantly, and if you stop she "yells" at you and stares at the toy...then at you...until you pick it up again LOL! And if you want to splurge she loves her cat wheel! She would do great in a quiet, calm household who just a want a buddy cat to be keep them company all the time and treat her like the princess she is. While she was raised with other animals, now it seems she does prefer to be the only pet in the house so she can reign supreme! She is fully vetted and has perfect litterbox habits. She is only two years old.

We are a quality over quantity based rescue with our kittens health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens.

By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home.
APPLICATION:
Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match.
INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.
APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.
TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days.
WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
