My story

Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you at your locationnor meet you 1/2 way for the cost of gas. We are 5 1/2 hrs west of Virginia Beach.

This pup is a lab boxer mix. He was born 5-10-21. He is sweet and very affectionate. He is great with people, even kids. He likes other dogs and cats. He has been started on crate training and potty training,

This pup will go home current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption.

We require a prescreen application to apply. You can get that on our main website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Why adoption is a great option

Edward, a Virginia Beach Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
