My story

Sweet tart

The rescue people call me Sweet Tart, but you can call me Sweetheart, Sweetie, Sweetie Pie, Sweet Potato, Sweet Pea..wait I'm hungry!

I'm not eating any tarts, pies, potatoes, or peas, but that's me in those pictures, with long gorgeous ears that defy gravity! You can pet them and play with them because I want to snuggle and cuddle with you! In my foster home I currently live with children, cats, and other dogs and I'm really easy going and friends with everybody so it would probably be ok if they want to snuggle up too as long as they are gentle.

I'm 4 months old and will probably top out at about 40 pounds of pure sweetness! I do really like my snacks and I'm really getting the hang of being a house dog and my foster family lets me roam around the house, I don't even get into any problems! I am crate trained since I'm still a curious puppy and might get into something I shouldn't.

If you've got the snacks, I've got the snuggles so fill out that adoption application because I'm ready to eat!

Local Adoption (TX) is $250
Out of State Adoption (TX) is $500 (includes transport to local area)

Why adoption is a great option

Sweet Tart*, a Von Ormy Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Von Ormy, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Von Ormy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Von Ormy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Von Ormy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Von Ormy paves the way for another one to be saved.
