My story

Fuzz came to us from Delaware, where he was not being care for for a long time. His coat was badly matted and his nails were extremely long. We usually don't publish photos of bunnies in poor condition, but you can see why his initial grooming when we got him lasted 4.5 hours. He is a very sweet bunny who needs a caring home where the owners will be committed to grooming. Born around September, 2017. BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.

Why adoption is a great option

Fuzz, a Harrisburg American Fuzzy Lop other was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Fuzzy Lop for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a American Fuzzy Lop other from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Fuzzy Lop breeders who help with American Fuzzy Lop rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
