Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My adult nieces acquired Hauff by their mother, who was able to convince the original owner to relinquish Hauff instead of trying to kill him herself due to being displaced and selfishly thinking he wouldn’t survive without her. My nieces, however saw that he was still being neglected with their mother and said they’ll try to clean him up and find another place for him.
Unfortunately, their landlord found out and that’s how I now have him. I’m hoping we can find his forever home quickly, as I live in a small apartment myself.
Hauff is AMAZINGLY still so loving, but very sad. For the past 8 years of his life, he’s only known one household, despite how neglectful it was. He is good with other dogs, cats, and kids! Please have dogs introduced slowly, of course. Extremely baby-like, and can whine when he isn’t given attention.
