Rico is a foster we took in for a friend who can no longer take him. He will need an experienced owner as well that knows about his breed. So we are looking to rehome him to somebody with a farm or very large Property hopefully with animals due to him being an Australian cattle dog (Herding dog) he can be happy and do what he is supposed to do. He is very hyper active and needs a lot of attention and a lot of playtime so he would do good with somebody that is home a lot. He’s great with other dogs and cats. He’s a very lovable dog especially with kids. He is crate trained and housetrained. If he does not get his playtime he gets very whiny. Due to him being a border collie he is also very clingy. We have loved his time here but unfortunately we do have six dogs including him and the time has come to an end. We know he will be happier on a farm or large property with some animals especially cows or sheep, Where he would have tasks to do.
