My story

Meet Miss Maggie .  She is a great little dachshund mix girl.  Maggie is 12 years old and 18 lbs.  She  gets along well with everyone.  She loves other dogs and is good with cats.  She is being fostered with both large and small dogs along with several cats.  Maggie is sweet as can be.  She loves to sniff around and explore outside while she hangs out in the sunshine with her foster brothers and sisters.  She enjoys the fenced in area which is preferred for dachshunds since that nose can get them in trouble.  Maggie also  likes to go for walks.  When not exploring outside she  likes to cuddle up with you or snuggle in her dog bed.  She will make someone a great companion!  If you are interested in adding a senior dog to your family then you have found her.  There is nothing like the love you receive from a rescued senior dog.  It is just different!!  Maggie is spayed, current on all her shots and microchipped.  She has also had and dental, along with bloodwork and she had a small mass removed.  She has totally recovered from all of this and is now ready for her forever home.  We hope that is with you.  To be considered for Maggie's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Maggie is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.  Transport goes as far north as CT.)June 29, 2022, 8:48 am

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
