Daniel and Ava are about 3 years old, fully vaccinated and negative for FIV/FeLV. They are a very loving pair, brother and sister, and are so sweet and entertaining. Daniel is always talking - it's not a ""meow"" - he actually tries to talk to you. They love to be pet and will get on their hind legs to meet your hand when you pet them. Both Ava and Daniel are very affectionate and will need time with a loving family who is patient with that process. Once they are relaxed and trust their family they will blossom as they have with their rescuer. Ava and Daniel are with their rescuer in Brooklyn if you would like to meet them please get in touch. All cats and kittens are vaccinated and tested for FELV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and if old enough, are neutered or spayed.
We will ask you some questions about your home and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Adopting a pet is a long-term commitment. We ask you to sign the KittyKind Adoption Agreement.
We will always take a cat back FOR ANY REASON. We will also work with you to place her in another good home if (after a period of adjustment) the adoption doesn't work out.
We do ask for a $125 adoption fee to help cover some of our food and veterinary expenses. For certain purebred cats (Siamese, Persian, Maine Coon, etc.), we request a $150 - $300 adoption fee.

KittyKind is a New York City not-for-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat rescue and adoption group. All of us at KittyKind have opened our hearts and homes — and emptied our pockets — to save thousands of cats from neglect or abuse. We are dedicated to relieving their suffering, providing food, shelter, medical care and comfort until we can place them in a safe and loving home.
