My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Sometimes we just never know how a feral kitten will turn out.  Cloud Chomper was a very feral kitten when he arrived and sadly he had ringworm so we were not able to play with him and give him the attention he deserved to become a sweet snuggly kitten.  However, to our pleasure our sweet boy decided one day that he really wanted to have snuggles and love from the humans that had so patiently cared for him and ever since if Cloud Chomper trusts you he is more than happy to rub his head into your hand and loves to have his ears rubbed and long pets down his soft fur.  We estimate his birthdate to be June 2021. Cloud Chomper gets along with other cats and loves to play with toys.  He will likely be one of those kittens that needs a time to adjust to a home but trust us he is worth it!  Cloud Chomper is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and FeLV/FIV negative.  If you would love to earn the affections of this sweet boy consider putting in an application and adoption fees for cats are free will for approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
