What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Daisy in February of 2021 from my local shelter.
A month or so after I got her home, she started having reactivity issues.
She has been in private training since October 2021 and has done a 3 week board and train to manage this reactivity. She has shown much improvement in terms of how long it takes her to warm up to new people as well as with her obedience.
Daisy is okay with bigger dogs but does not do well with smaller dogs she is not used to.
She tends to keep to herself and will only play when she wants to play - much like a cat.
Daisy is trained with an e-collar, kennel trained and does well on walks
I have worked hard to get her where she is today in regards to her reactivity. I am looking for an adopter who has experience working with reactive dogs and who will be patient and continue to work with her.
Once she warms up she is a loyal loving snuggly girl.
