My story

Tex is a 12 lb, 8 year old male chiweenie, who is loving, fun and hilarious.   He will scare you with his appearance and his growls until you realize that his teeth stick out and his growls are his love language.   He is a fun and wonderful walking companion and a great little dog who get overlooked because he is not necessarily pretty.   But, Tex is a loyal companion who will be there with unconditional love for the right person.   If you are interested in meeting Tex or giving him a forever home, please complete an application on line at www.ahome4everrescue.org.

Come meet our dogs Saturdays and Sundays at Petsmart in Costa Mesa from 11:30-2:30. All A Home 4 Ever Rescue dogs receive a wellness exam by our veterinarian and are up to date with vaccinations. They are spayed or neutered and microchipped before they go to their adoptive families. If you would like more information please email the adoption Director muellenbergerin@gmail.com

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with an application followed by an interview. If all goes well we will proceed with a home visit. At the time of the home visit we will bring the dog with us. If the home is safe, you will complete the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and we will leave your new family member with you at that time.

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are in Orange County on every Saturday. We also can make special arrangements during the week when it is impossible for someone to come on the weekends. Our goal is to pair up good pet parents with loving dogs in need.

More about this rescue

Our dogs are rescued from what is called "death row" at the city and county shelters, from a life abandoned on the streets, or from other situations of neglect and cruelty. While in our care they receive love, rehabilitation and medical care, if needed, and grooming. Since we are a small group, we are always in need of donations of any kind.
