My story

Miss Addy came to Shelter to home, with a double ear infection and a very bad skin infection due to fleas. Addy is 9 years old. I was told she was kept in a crate 12 to 14 hours a day, in a basement, and used for breeding. She is believed to be a coonhoud/Ridgeback mix.

Miss Addy did not know how to socialize with other dogs, to play with toys, or even lay down on a bed.

Moving forward. She lives with 3 foster brothers(dogs). She now knows how to play with her foster brothers and plays with toys, she even knows how to sleep on her bed and she loves her pillows. She will chase the ball in the yard. She lives car riders, and short walks .

Miss Addy has some Arthritis due to be crated for long hours . She will require medication for the rest of her life.(very inexpensive). But trust when I say. It does not slow her down.

She is looking for her forever family to give her all the love that she deserves. She will lay on the sofa with you, or across your lap if you allow her to. She will give kisses when she chooses.

Miss Addy, has turned out to be an amazing baby. Please consider making her a part of your life. I promise you won't be sorry.

Love VI. (Miss Addy's foster mom)**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at for information on our adoption process.**September 25, 2022, 4:15 pm
