My story

Meet Everest:

Special Needs: Tested FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus)

Amber-eyed Everest, still new to the feeling of safety, has, paw step by paw step, been gaining in confidence as he finds his feline 'footing.' While he remains wary of being touched, he’s more than curious about everyone entering the room, monitoring their movements as if memorizing them for future reference.

Most comfortable in the company of other cats, he hopes to go to a tranquil home with one of them or to one with a kitty already there where loving adopters will patiently teach him all he needs to know about fur-ever LOVE.

Go meet their pets

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

More about this rescue

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.
