So Brisket is an AMAZING flavored meat that starts out kinda hard to chew and with NO redeeming qualities... until you COOK it for HOURS and HOURS and a low heat, with a marinade and then rub for awesome flavor! I am NOT like brisket cause I am sweet and yummy from the first MINUTE you meet me! No "cooking" ME for hours... I am the nice dark brown coloring and loving, tender boy from the beginning! Less MUSS, NO FUSS :) So, yes I am named after a VERY pup-ular Texas food, which should tell you two things- I am TX born AND I am able to travel to ANY STATE and be YOUR little piece of TEXAS too!! I am a Chocolate hunk of a man (YOUNG man at 13 months old) and only about 47# of love and happiness! I have been rescued by a really really nice family who have exposed me to ALL kinds of critters (that's what we call farm animals in TX) and I am actually really good with them- even the cats who reside IN the house with us- I understand they are to be respected... however, the outside kitties are chase-able to me. So if you have kitties and adopt me- we will do a good introduction to make sure your kitties won't beat me up or run around when I come to live with YOU :) I have not hurt one kitty hair on their heads, however, chasing seems like fun and may get me into trouble! I love all peeps I meet and I am great with other dogs too! I get to visit the doggy daycare that my rescue lady works at and MAN is that a NICE PLACE to hang during the day!!! I have all kinds of cool friends and adventures and my social life is BOOMING! I want a nice family who will appreciate my beauty, my coloring, my social skills and most of all, my PLACE of BIRTH- cause EVERYTHING is BETTER in TEXAS :)- except the lives of SO MANY dogs and cats. THAT'S why it is so so important to adopt from TEXAS, cause SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!!!!
