Are you looking for a silly man to watch those squirrels like a hawk? Then come meet Hawk! Hawk is a chill boy inside, but loves his outdoor play time and walks. He bonds very closely with his person and enjoys affection, but is not too invasive and likes his own space. He is also very smart and likes to be outside exploring nature.
Hawk is house-trained, always waiting to go outside. He free roams his foster's apartment and does well when he's away, sleeping most of the time and excited to see him return. He is initially shy, but has become more trusting of people. He loves to see his foster's visiting friends, excited and jumping to try to give them kisses. And he often cuddles with his foster and enjoys belly rubs and pets.
Hawk is super easy to walk on leash, but he is still learning not to pull. He can be excited to see other dogs and pulls closer, trying to sniff them. He prefers pups who are not too rowdy and can chill with him. He loves to sniff and explore, but responds to a command to move along. What he really adores is watching squirrels. He loves being outside and exploring and sniffing everything. If you have a yard where he can also chase squirrels, he would be over the moon. Nothing drives him crazier than seeing a squirrel!
Hawk never jumps on the bed or sofa and knows that's not his space. He would thrive in a low-traffic, calm home with a yard where he can run and chase those squirrels he loves. And he'll enjoy a well-matched dog buddy. Come meet this sweet boy!
