My story

Lacey is a very smart girl who's learning that humans and houses can be actually quite safe. This sweet young pup came to her foster home shy and fearful of new people she met and uncomfortable inside houses. Now she's figured out that they can be very pleasant, and her confidence is growing so much.

This playful girl has especially benefited from her fosters' dogs. She's velcroed with their big one and he's helped her become very social. She adores being outdoors and loves going on long walks and hikes. She's a wonderful leash walker who may pull when she sees a squirrel or cat, but given a treat, she redirects easily. At home, she loves playing with her dog buddies and is so smart that she loves puzzle games. She's a curious and very trainable girl who is learning to answer to commands. When she hears the word "crate she runs right in it, sits down and waits for a treat. (She just doesn't want to be left alone there yet.) She's also making progress on her house-training.

Lacey will be happy in a home with parents and teenage kids who can continue her training and help her continue to gain confidence. She will love having a dog buddy who can keep helping her socialize. And she'll love being outdoors on those hikes. Come meet her. Show her your ID and she'll trust you right away!
