My story

Shenzi is a sweet Tuxedo Boy that is around 3 yrs old. This handsome man is patiently waiting for his family to find him. He is an affectionate feline that rubs his head on his foster mom for pets and likes to lounge on the couch with his humans. He enjoys observing all that goes on in the home and is a very laid back gentleman. He takes a bit of time to warm up to strangers but with patience and some tasty treats, Shenzi is guaranteed to become anyones best friend. He is food motivated and bonds closely with those who feed him as well. Shenzi would do best in a more relaxed, quiet home to settle down in. He does great with other cats and can coexist well with calmer dogs. Email us at info@redemptionroadinc.org if you’re interested in adopting Shenzi!

More about this rescue

Save Lives, Rehabilitate, and Re-home  Our team operates as a nonprofit animal rescue organization. The main focus is to rehabilitate animals and prepare the humans prior to adoption. Currently, we are foster based and we use the services of a dog kennel for boarding and daycare needs. Every animal is unique and requires a different approach to have a successful adoption. There is no one-way approach, therefore, we do not limit our training options. Our treatment plans include obedience training, puppy/kitten training, behavioral modification, socialization, positive reinforcement techniques, problem solving, pet nutrition planning, as well as creating a specialized individual program for specific needs. Ultimately, we aim to transform our animals into model citizens, then integrate them into the lives of the best matched humans to help guide them.
