My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is the sweetest senior poodle you’ll ever meet. He loves to be held like a baby and loves to cuddle on the couch while you watch sports or a movie.
This adorable guy is about 12 yrs old and weighs 22 lbs. He hardly makes a peep and would do fine with another calm dog or as an only dog.
When he was rescued from Mexico he was suffering from arthritis, a mouth of rotten teeth, and alopecia (hair loss). After months of treatment we got his beautiful coat back, he’s on medication for his arthritis which have made him a very happy boy. His arthritis makes it hard for him to go on walks, but he enjoys exploring his Foster's backyard.
He isn’t currently experiencing any kidney issues, but the vet predicted future issues, so we have him on renal care kibble that he needs to stay on to slow any progression that might take place.
Jax takes arthritis medication in a pill pocket 2x day — once in the morning & once at night. He's neutered, up to date on shots, and recently had a dental.
Jax needs frequent access to the outdoors — a dog door is a major plus. He’s dog-door trained but he spent nearly his whole life outdoors so accidents may happen.
We’re looking for a special person that might be interested in letting him live out the rest of his life in his own forever home.
