Our very own Jake & Elwood, are “On A Mission!”

“It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full can of Fancy Feast, half a pouch of catnip, it’s 72 degrees outside, and we’re wearing fur coats! Hit it!”

For anyone who loves the Blues Brothers as much as we do, these BONDED BROTHERS are waiting for you!

Jake is a long hair, male tabby. He’s curious but still initially shy. He has a deep purr, that makes you want to scoop him up to snuggle. He’s not quite there yet, so patience is required. He needs his brother Elwood to help him continue trusting humans.

Elwood is a short hair, black & white male. He has come a long way in trusting humans. He loves to purr and snuggle, but you must approach him slowly. Then he will just melt from attention. This helps Jake learn people are ok. It’s all about Brotherhood.

Jake & Elwood we estimate were born 12/2021. They came to us the end of January 2022, from outside a local assisted living facility. They were cold and alone. We have been working with them every day. We are finally ready to let them “complete their Mission”, and be adopted! They MUST be ADOPTED TOGETHER!

Jake & Elwood tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, fecal negative test, have received their initial kitten vaccines, been wormed and treated for fleas. The balance of their kitten vaccines, rabies vaccine, and neuter are included in our adoption plan.
