My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hardy is an 8 y/o boy. When his owner died last year, he went to live with a neighbor with his sister. They must have been free feeding this pair because for short beagles, they are both chunks! Hardy weighs a little over 30 pounds but is trimming up quickly with good diet and lots of exercise.

He gets along well with other beagles in the pack if they don’t try to steal his toy! He is in a different foster home from his sister. They were friendly but not bonded at all. Hardy is in love only with whatever toy he currently has a passion for. This silly guy loves to fetch, so will bark at you until you notice that he has tossed his ball or toy at your feet.

He does love a good cuddle in the evenings when you are watching TV. He will curl right up next to you and paw at your hand if you forget to give him pets! He will do best in a home versus an apartment setting as he does bark when you first leave but will settle down. Hardy may be a senior, but at heart, he is still a pup in love with life. Hardy will do well as an only dog, but not if he is home alone all day. Apply today to make this boy a part of your family!
