Dickens’ adoption donation is $450 and he is being fostered in Eastern Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, started on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Dickens requires a secure, physically fenced yard and we do recommend a companion dog of similar size.
Dickens is a shy but friendly little guy. He is content with a lap to lie on and hasn’t had any complaints while he has been in his foster home. He is learning how to be a dog and is doing well with potty training when kept on a schedule. Small yet mighty, he isn’t afraid of the foster’s golden retriever whatsoever. He hasn’t played with any toys yet but we are certain that will come with time as he feels more comfortable in a home and out of a puppy mill cage.
