My story

Meet Hazel!!!

She is a one year old pittie mix and weighs around 45-50 pounds.

Hazel was a stray in Georgia. She found herself in the local shelter and unfortunately was at risk for euthanasia. Luckily, with some help, we were able to get her out and into foster. Here is some more info on Hazel:
“Hi, my name is Hazel. I am white Pitbull terrier that was found as a stray. I am spayed and up to date on shots and heartworm negative. I am 48 pounds, crate trained and house trained! I know sit, and I take treats very well.

My foster mom says my fur is so soft and that I am a very good girl. I mind and take direction very well. I am doing great with the other dogs in my foster home and love to play. Although I am crate trained, I prefer to sleep in the bed with my foster mom. I love to relax in her lap in the recliner and I love to snuggle.”
Hazel is dog friendly, but untested with cats and tiny humans.

Why adoption is a great option

Hazel, a Grafton Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Grafton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Grafton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grafton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grafton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grafton paves the way for another one to be saved.
