My story

www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org Meet Sylvie! H-E-A-R-T rescued her from a GA shelter. Sylvie was a stray so there's not much known about her. She's estimated to be 1.5 years old and has the sweetest demeanor. She's healthy, dog friendly and rides great in a vehicle.   Sylvie is searching for her forever home now. She'd love a family who has lots of love, time and attention to provide her. Maybe someone who will take her on long walks or play ball in the backyard with her. She'd like a family who isn't out of the house for extended periods of time. Sylvie has not been kid tested but she has a very sweet demeanor and respectful children would be fine. She also loves toys!   Sylvie likes other dogs but is rough in her playstyle. She'd do best in a home with another exuberant canine friend or as an only dog. If she's adopted into a home as an only dog, it would be best if she could have regular playdates or dog park outings to continue her socialization.   Sylive is being fostered in NJ but can be transported to her new family! Her adoption area is CT to GA. Please consider giving this gorgeous girl a chance at a new life.

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our organization saves, rehabilitates, and rehomes Siberian Huskies (and other breeds of dogs) who are abandoned and are in kill shelters. We provide medical and behavioral services and rehome them to compatible families. We do this through volunteer efforts. Most of the dogs in need will come from the Southern States where the shelter kill rate is higher. We have a network of foster homes along the East Coast, while our adoption locations can be found in Maryland and New Jersey.
