My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Scarlett, a captivating 4-year-old terrier mix weighing a charming 40 pounds. Scarlett's journey has been one of resilience and hope, having endured the hardships of an abusive situation before finding refuge in the care of the shelter and, subsequently, her nurturing foster home.

Under the patient guidance of her foster mom, Scarlett has made remarkable strides in rebuilding her trust in humanity. Months of dedicated care have transformed her into a sweet and affectionate soul, ready to embark on the next chapter of her life in a loving forever home.

Scarlett dreams of a home where she can be the center of attention, relishing in the undivided love and affection of her human companions. While she adores the company of older kids or empty nesters, she remains wary of very young children and would thrive in a calm and serene environment.

This resilient pup boasts an adventurous spirit, eagerly embracing car rides and leisurely strolls on the leash. Her love for walks knows no bounds, and she revels in exploring the world around her with boundless curiosity.

Scarlett is a model of good behavior, being fully potty trained and finding solace in her crate, which she considers her safe haven for storing her beloved toys. Speaking of toys, Scarlett's eyes light up at the sight of treats, making them an irresistible delight for this endearing canine.

While Scarlett faces the challenge of heartworm positivity, she is under the diligent care of medication to aid in her recovery. Despite this hurdle, her spirit remains unbroken, and her foster mom affectionately refers to her as her "precious" girl, a testament to the love and devotion she inspires.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to Scarlett, her foster mom eagerly awaits the opportunity to share more about this remarkable canine companion. Will you be the one to offer Scarlett the forever home she so rightfully deserves?

More about this rescue

We provide animal related services to our local communities. We are currently partnered with multipule cities to provide Animal Control and/or sheltering within their City limits. As part of our daily outreach we pick up stray animals and try to get them back to their owners. In any case where the owner cannot be located and the dog is adoptable we reach out to both the internet community and our local communities to find loving homes.
