My story

SPECIAL NEEDS: Scooter is diabetic

Scooter came to Camp Companion because his owned died. He went from a loving home to Animal Control before coming to his current foster home. He was very stressed and was striking out. Now that he has had a nice quiet space, he has settled down and become a very loving and friendly cat. He loves to sleep under the blanket on my bed. Scooter is a special needs cat due to his diabetes. He will need insulin injections daily and is on a special diet. He does like dogs

Adoption Fee: $120 plus tax

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003. Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers. Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes. Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
