My story

Welcome Luke to CCPAL Rescue. Luke is a German Shepherd mixed pup. He is about 4 months old. He is currently about 25 pounds and should be a 70-pound dog full grown. He is a high mix pup and looks like he has a good amount of GSD in him. He is attentive, smart, learns quickly and energetic. An energetic family is going to be his best home. We always like kids with GSD dogs because they need a job to be physically and mentally stimulated and kids are a great job for them. He is vocal which is a GSD quality. His best home will be a home with a fenced yard and an active family that wants an active pup to join them in outdoor activities. He may have upright ears. Right now, they are semi erect. He is getting his puppy vaccines and will be neutered soon and looking for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states

Why adoption is a great option

Luke, a Bandera German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bandera, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bandera.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bandera already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bandera breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bandera paves the way for another one to be saved.
