In March 2022 we were notified of several rabbits that had been dumped and later captured. The four captured (King Boo, Koopa, Goomba, & Wario) had both previous and current injuries and mites (all healed up now!).
Koopa is now 2 years old. She is literbox trained, and has been known to jump over short exercise pens or pet gates but has been good lately. :) She is fine with gentle children coming up to her but is not a fan of being picked up (like most rabbits), and of course the vacuum is a sworn enemy! Not a big fan of dogs either. She does much better in an exercise pen or room than a small pen or cage so a 2x6' or 4x4' space is the minimum she should be housed in. Any play areas should be well bunny-proofed for her as she is curious and will nibble or chew, but currently she is allowed to roam the kitchen in her foster home. When she is with someone who 'speaks bunny' she is quite social, but doesn't do so well at adoption days so she's been passed over quite a bit because of that and her red eyes. She's a low-key mellow girl, just patiently waiting for her perfect person!
Spay/neuter: 3/29/22 @ Azalea Lakes Vet
Fecal test: neg 6/8/23
Last weight: 6lbs 6/8/23
Medgene RHDV2 vaccine dates: 6/8/23 (original boosters: 4/14/22 & 5/4/22)
